Disorganised

...well, maybe not actually disorganised, just need to get my act together when it comes to my sewing...

Where did Saturday go?...literally, I blinked and it was gone!

My girls and I had a hairdresser's appointment at 9.30am, which meant we didn't get back till 12.30pm !! as I stopped at the fruit shop along the way and stocked up on some much-needed fruit and veg for the week.

Spent the next two hours having a bit of a tidy up as we had someone wanting to see our place at 2.30pm...so we took Ollie and the youngest kitten in the car and drove around the neighbourhood while the Real Estate Agent showed our house...

Quickly grabbed something to eat (supposedly lunch) and got changed as Hubby and I had to see some new clients at 4.30pm...got back home at 6.45pm, just in time for Hubby to get changed as his band was playing at a 40th birthday party (yay! paying gig!) and eldest daughter Maddie was sleeping over at a friend's place. Cassie (youngest daughter) and I decided we would treat ourselves to some nice Thai for dinner but couldn't be bothered getting dressed up for the restaurant, so we picked some up on the way home...

...ate waaaay too much Thai and a glass of red wine...

I'd thought this would be the perfect time to do some hand piecing...had a nice time chatting with Cassie and hanging out with the Kitten, then got into bed with Cassie on a computer game next to me, and decided to read some quilting blogs for inspiration...I certainly was inspired, but I could also not keep my eyes open any longer!...LOL

So, after Hubby let me know they were packing up and yes, someone from the band could give him a lift home, I rolled over and promptly fell asleep...

aaaah Sunday morning...lots to do. Washing to catch up on, followed by ironing so the girls can start the last week of term in some sort of order. At least the house is very clean and picked up due to yesterday's inspection. Fingers crossed we'll get an offer we can't refuse ...OK, any offer would be nice ;)

I hope to be able to take advantage of the lovely afternoon light in my bedroom and take pictures of my UFO's...and post them next time.
