One of those days...

...when nothing much is accomplished...

Where did today go?

It started much like ay other Monday morning. Drove the girls to school, hung out a load of washing, sat down with Hubby to do our daily "to do" list for work...

Garbbed a coffee and headed down to Penrith, where Hubby had to drop some car parts to a friend's workshop. I popped into Spotlight for half an hour...came home with a new rotary cutter (my previous one had been a hand-me-down from Mother in law), some needles and new scissors.

By the time we were heading home we realised we were running very late for Maddie's orthodontist appointment.  The plan had been for me to drop Hubby back home and then pick Maddie up from school and go to the appointment, but we realised we were not going to be able to do that. We made it just in time for her appointment and headed back home.

Then dropped her off at the chemist where she works three afternoons a week, picked Cassie up from the bus-stop and headed home. By that time it was 4.30pm!!!

I had not done any work other than answer phone calls and email, the house was not looking too good, and I had not even un-packed my goodies from Spotlight...



So here we are, almost time to call it a day (I go to bed fairly early by most standards) - tomorrow is my "early" morning, I have to be up at 5am and out the door at 6am for a weekly business meeting...

I am planning to get up around the same time every morning, but use the time for some sewing every day other than Tuesday.



So - here's to the day that was. Not much accomplished but I did sit down for half an hour to pay my bills. You see I get paid monthly - which means once a month I catch up on all bills etc...call me crazy, but gee it's a good feeling! I never fail to give Thanks for being able to do that...
